BTA insured one of the apartments located in the building damaged by fire in Ķekava municipality
AAS “BTA Baltic Insurance Company” (hereinafter – BTA) insured one apartment located in the apartment building damaged by fire today in Krustkalnu village, Ķekava parish, Ķekava district. "BTA expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives of those who died in the fire and to all those who have been shaken by this tragic event. We have contacted the resident of the building whose apartment is insured by BTA, and, if necessary, we will compensate the rent for temporary accommodation, as well as provide financial assistance for essential items," says Ivo Danče, Director of the BTA Insurance Claims Department.
"This tragic incident once again confirms how closely the safety of residents and the protection of property are linked in apartment buildings – an accident in one apartment can affect the entire building and its residents. Our main priority at the moment is to provide the necessary support to the customer whose apartment is insured by BTA, compensating for the rent for temporary accommodation and providing financial assistance for essential goods, if necessary," says I. Danče.
