BTA invites people to rethink insurance: less fear, more living
Alongside this, the company is also introducing a new slogan, “Prepare for the best,” which, according to BTA, represents not only protection in case of misfortune but also peace of mind in everyday life – the feeling that you can plan, try, and move forward knowing you have reliable support behind you.
“Insurance is often associated with the worst-case scenarios in life – accidents, losses, or fear. However, its value is not only revealed when something happens. Equally important is that it helps people feel more confident when making decisions – whether traveling, creating, or planning for the future,” says Oskars Hartmanis, Chairman of the Board at BTA Insurance.
At the same time, BTA emphasizes that a positive outlook on life does not mean ignoring risks or living carelessly. On the contrary, it stems from the feeling of being prepared for different situations and being able to make decisions with greater confidence. This allows not only to better appreciate what you have, but also to more boldly explore new opportunities, both in everyday life and when planning for the future.
Caution, however, is part of the history of the Baltic states. It is reflected not only in our proverbs, such as “better safe than sorry,” but also in small everyday rituals – like knocking on wood or throwing salt over your shoulder if a black cat crosses your path. Such superstitions and habits have, over centuries, become part of our culture – a reminder that life can be unpredictable.
“For people in the Baltic states, caution is very natural. Historically, it was necessary, but today it is increasingly important not only to be cautious, but also to move forward with confidence. The role of insurance in this context is to help people prepare for various situations and give them greater confidence to pursue their goals,” says O. Hartmanis.
BTA Insurance is also updating parts of its communication – from visual identity to tone of voice. However, the company’s mission remains the same: to help people and businesses feel safer and more confident in pursuing their goals.
“Our goal is to help people maintain the pace of life even when faced with unexpected events. The true role of insurance is revealed when it helps people return more quickly to their normal lives and continue implementing their plans,” says the Chairman of the Board at BTA Insurance.
