BTA Baltic Insurance Company AAS (BTA) is first insurance company in Latvia to offer online video consultations to its customers to provide an opportunity a safe way, devoid of physical contact, of solving their insurance matters.

During a video consultation, customers are offered an opportunity to learn about all BTA insurance products, tell their needs to BTA specialist to receive the best possible solution.

“We observe a rising demand for online consultations, this is what we also hear from our customers. But, we indeed would like to retain the human interaction aspect in our communication with customers, therefore the best solution for now, in our opinion, is the opportunity of “meeting” BTA specialists online – in a video consultation meeting. Also, the customer can make an appointment to have a meeting at a certain time on a certain day, applying for this is very convenient and simple,” emphasizes Gerda Joņina, the Head of BTA Telemarketing Division.

In order to make an appointment to an online video consultation, customer needs to fill an application form on BTA’s website www.bta.lv, indicating its name, e-mail and the preferable time of conversation. Within one business day, the customer will receive a link containing invitation to video consultation at its indicated e-mail account. Video consultations are offered from Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 to 17:00. In order to participate in the consultation, the customer will need a computer or a smartphone with a camera and internet access. Online consultation will not require installation of a specific software, just clicking on the link in the invitation, and video chat window will pop up in the web browser.
