Changes in BTA Management Board
On December 13, the insurance joint-stock company’s "BTA Baltic Insurance Company" (BTA) Supervisory Board made changes to the composition of the Board – Oskars Hartmanis, the former Deputy Chairman of the Board was appointed as the Chairman of the Board – a new Member of the Board Gediminas Radavičius has joined the Board of the BTA, as well as the existing members of the Board - Evija Matveja and Tadeuš Podvorski - continue their work. The changes are planned to come into force on January 1, 2024 but not earlier than BTA has received the Bank of Latvia’s approval for these changes.
The new Chairman of the Board of BTA, Oskars Hartmanis, has 25 years of experience in insurance. Oskars joined BTA in 2012 and since then, he has developed various projects and directions that have helped BTA to become one of the leading insurance companies in the Baltics.
Wolfgang Stockmeyer resigns from the position of Chairman of the BTA management board. In the future he will continue to follow the development of the company – subject to approval of the Bank of Latvia – as member of the Supervisory Board. Wolfgang Stockmeyer says: “I’m happy to see how BTA has grown and how we created internal culture for inspiring ideas that results as new and innovative ways to meet the requirements of customers and cooperation partners for quick and convenient insurance services.
