BTA Baltic Insurance Company AAS (hereinafter – BTA) has managed to achieve good results in the travel insurance segments in Latvia during 5 months of 2018. BTA managed to increase the total underwritten insurance gross premium volume by 15% and the result is exceeding the growth of the insurance market in the travel insurance segment.

When studying the travel habits of inhabitants and what needs they used to face during the trip, BTA has introduced a new service on the market in Latvia. This is a travel insurance policy with the place of insurance “Territory of the Baltic Sea”. The territory of the insured travel services includes Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland and Sweden.

The advantage for BTA customers, when choosing one of the previously named countries as a final destination, is that it will be by 50% cheaper than the insurance policy for the territory “Europe”. Travel insurance policy may be arranged on the BTA website www.bta.lv or on the BTA Customers portal, where you can administer policies and indemnities in an easy and convenient manner! Besides, we also invite to arrange insurance policies at any of the BTA customer service centres across the whole Latvia.
