BTA regarded the most attractive employer in the insurance field for the second consecutive year
Creating positive emotional environment in the company and constant improvement of staff motivation programme has allowed BTA Baltic Insurance Company (BTA) to become to become best and the most attractive employer in Latvia in the insurance field from the viewpoint of employees for the second consecutive year. Moreover, the comments of best employers indicate the high influence of insurers on other industries, as the attitude of the staff towards the employer predominantly is defined by the quality of the health insurance policy it can provide.
In the survey of 2017, BTA has stepped up by two positions among other companies in the industry within the year and now ranks as 10, as well as made it among Top 5 most attractive places to work for those making a monthly net salary from 500 to 1200 euros.
“In a time, when Latvia experiences one of the lowest levels of unemployment and competition for good employees becomes tighter, such an assessment of workforce is a clear signal that best insurance specialists work for BTA, and it allows us to provide our customers the best quality insurance services,” says BTA Management Board Chairman Jānis Lucaus.
BTA enjoys the high appreciation because it takes care of positive microclimate and comfort of its staff. The company, having 500 employees in Latvia, pays much attention to internal motivation of it staff and increasing the sense of affiliation. Much effort is given to team building, by integration of new employees, as well as positive emotions, when the management of the company in person greets their employees on their festive days, granting a day off on their birthdays as well as a paid leave.
According to a study made by the online recruitment company CV-Online Latvia, which included nearly 7000 working individuals, employees, when making their employer choices, consider the following aspects – whether the salary is motivating, what is the management approach, what the relations with colleagues are, and what career development opportunities are. From the employer’s viewpoint, many employers see health insurance policy as an important tool to increase their staff satisfaction.
